Some Techniques:
I completed most of my yoga-related studies in India, Thailand, and Bali. My learning and experiences were greatly enriched by the local culture and the life perspective of the people there.
I completed the foundational 200-hour and advanced 300-hour teacher training courses in Rishikesh, India. Shortly afterward, I studied tantric hatha yoga at the Agama yoga school in Thailand. In Bali, I trained in pre- and postnatal, children’s, and teenage yoga and later learned yoga nidra from Betty Kah. I began studying Advaita Vedanta philosophy with Swami Pujan and not long after participated in a one-month Advaita Vedanta course in Tiruvannamalai, India, led by James Swartz.
I have been to Rishikesh several times, visiting the ashrams of the Himalayan tradition, as well as Ramana Maharishi’s ashram in Tiruvannamalai, where I also climbed and walked the pilgrimage route around Arunachala Hill. I spent more than a month in Auroville, where I delved deeper into the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. In Kannur, I studied Ayurveda, and I also visited Lonavla, home to India’s first yoga research institution, where I participated in a conference with my own research material.
I have participated in silent retreats multiple times and studied with many excellent teachers in Hungary and Graz as well. Additionally, I have been practicing with Chris Tracy and Ariel Lee, founders of the Kriya Lightning Foundation, for nearly 10 years. Last year, I was fortunate to study with Wayan Mustika in Bali, whose personal teachings also had a significant impact on me. Among the late gurus, I can relate most to the energies and teachings of Swami Rama, Ramana Maharishi, Yogananda, and Mahavatar Babaji .
In terms of physical practice, I primarily enjoy traditional hatha yoga, hatha flow, and vinyasa flow styles, but there were times when I practiced Bikram yoga or asthanga vinyasa the most.
I started teaching yoga after my first training, initially in Graz, both in English and Hungarian. Later, during my PhD studies, I conducted several structured yoga courses. This is when I began teaching pranayama, meditation, and yoga philosophy, and I became a guest teacher at yoga teacher training programs. I also started leading sessions at the yoga courses of Semmelweis University (SOTE).
Along with teaching, I continue to study and practice to this day. I attend retreats, and in recent years, I have been deeply drawn to kirtan (bhajan), the singing of mantras, which has completely captivated me.
